TIME CHANGED! Apologies for the late notice: due to some scheduling issues we’ve moved the date of the fundraiser back by a month to the second half of October!
Join the NTX DSA Ecosocialist Working Group and Highland Hills Community Action Committee for an Environmental Justice Movie Night! The event is a fundraiser for the Highland Hills Community Action Committee, to enable HHCAC to do more community outreach, education, and organizing around the Lane Plating Works Superfund site in Highland Hills, environmental racism, and environmental justice.
Watch and discuss the movie, then learn about environmental justice issues in the Highland Hills area, including the Lane Plating Superfund site! $10 suggested donation (Eventbrite page will be up soon)
We’ll be watching the documentary “Come Hell or High Water: The Battle for Turkey Creek”.
